Frequently asked questions
Do I need any technical setup or integration?
No. The portal works entirely in your browser. If your team can use a booking website, they can use this. There is nothing to install or build.
How do I earn, and who takes the customer’s payment?
You take the customer’s payment through your own systems and keep your commission on every confirmed booking. The balance is reconciled with DiscoverCars monthly. Your earnings are visible per booking in the portal.
Is there a cost to join or a minimum number of bookings?
No upfront cost and no minimum volume. You start earning from your first booking, whatever your agency’s size.
Who do we contact if something goes wrong with a rental?
DiscoverCars provides 24/7 dedicated support for your agency via phone and email.
What happens if a client needs to change or cancel a booking?
Cancellations can be made in the portal up to 48 hours before pickup, and cancelled bookings do not earn commission. Because you collect the customer’s payment, you handle the refund to your client; your monthly reconciliation reflects only confirmed bookings. (Specific terms are set out in your agency agreement.)
Can several of my agents use one account?
Yes. You can set up multiple agents under one agency, with shared visibility of bookings.
